"Jarvis over Suzuki is an absolute disgrace": Hockey fans react to Canada's 4 Nations Face-Off roster featuring Sidney Crosby and more 

Canada's roster for the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament was announced on Wednesday, featuring 23 of the country's top NHL players.

Headlined by Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby, the roster also includes stars like Nathan MacKinnon, Brad Marchand, Connor McDavid and Brayden Point. The tournament will take place from Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston.

The roster announcement sparked plenty of reaction from hockey fans on social media.

"Jarvis over Suzuki is an absolute disgrace."

Another fan wrote:

"No Ryan Nugent-Hopkins on this roster. That’s a mistake. 100 points last year and plays 200ft. Special Teams on both sides."

"I know I’m a little bias but Suzuki is having a better season then some of the players on this list," one fan commented.

"Mind boggling to me that Cirelli makes this team over Tavares not trying to be a leafs homer here but JT91 has career highs of 47 goals compared to Cirelli’s 20 and points 88 to 45 not to mention John being 60% on the dot. Huge snub imo," another fan said.

With the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament still months away, there will likely be more debate around the final 23 players chosen to represent Canada.
