The 2024-25 NHL season will start in less than two weeks and fans are excited about it. However, some are upset about the new jersey prices from Fanatics. The company recently shared its pricing:
- Practice jersey: $120
- Breakaway jersey: $135 for blank, $175 for customized
- Premium jersey: $180 for blank, $230 for customized
- Authentic Pro jersey: $425, made in Canada with true on-ice specs
Fans quickly reacted to it on X. Many feel the prices are too high for the quality offered.
“That much and the jersey breaks after 1 wear.” One fan commented, showing concern about the quality of the jerseys.
“What a disgrace. Lowest quality possible while simultaneously most expensive possible.” Another fan said.
"$425 for a jersey that costs $30" a fan wrote.
Here are some more reactions from fans on X:
"Same price as the adidas ones before anyone freaks out" a fan said.
"$425 for a blank btw. Blackhawks are selling them for $450 + $100 for the pro stitched customized on their website." another fan wrote.
"No ones paying $425 for a jersey made by materials that costs 15 cents with the players name spelt wrong on the back and also probably the wrong team logo on the front" one fan said.
As they continue to share their thoughts, it’s clear that the pricing has not made some fans happy as they want better value for their money.
