Johnny Gaudreau's wife, Meredith, recently shared a throwback highlight of her later husband's remarkable performance during the 2013 World Junior Hockey Championship.
In her heartfelt Instagram story, she conveyed her excitement about the future when she can show their children how special Johnny was, both at home and on the ice.
She captioned the story:
"Can't wait to show u off to our kids one day. We know how special you are at home but showing them how special you are in the hockey world excites me."
"We love you daddy hockey."
The hockey world was shaken by the death of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew, who lost their lives in an accident in August when they were struck by an alleged drunk driver while riding bicycles near their home.
Meredith and Johnny had two children together, a daughter, Noa, and a son, Johnny Jr. At Johnny's memorial in Sept., Meredith announced that she was expecting their third child. She described the pregnancy as a surprise but shared that Johnny was filled with joy upon hearing the news.
