NHL fans discussed Toronto Maple Leafs forward John Tavares holding Tampa Bay Lightning's Michael Eyssimont in an armbar during a line brawl on Monday. The fight erupted after the final buzzer when Lightning's Eyssimont tried to tackle Simon Benoit near the boards.
Tavares joined in and confronted Eyssimont, and soon players from both teams joined in. It was when Tavares and Eyssimont ended up in the armbar situation.
A Twitter user, Knies Guy, shared the video of Tavares on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote:
"I'll be the first to say that Keefe was never able to pull this out of his team. When JT is throwing opposing players in a hybrid triangle choke/arm bar, things are serious."
NHL fans reacted to the post. A fan reacted to John Tavares' impressive play during the brawl:
"JT w/ the A(mulet) is a different beast."
The comment connects to the Aires Tech product, called a “magical amulet." It claims to protect users from electromagnetic radiation devices like cellphones and Wi-Fi.
Tavares partnered with the company earlier this year, saying that he felt benefits for his recovery and health. This partnership has raised doubts among experts about how well the product works.
"Idk why anyone would fight JT don’t they know about his amulet!!!!," another fan commented.

John Tavares didn't score in Maple Leafs' 5-2 win
The Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-2. William Nylander scored twice and added an assist. Auston Matthews extended his goal streak to three games, and Mitch Marner had two assists, while Anthony Stolarz made 32 saves in his fourth straight start.
John Tavares didn't score but had an assist. He had a plus-one rating and played 16 minutes and 32 seconds, taking four shots and also having two penalty minutes. Matthews scored a power-play goal early in the second period, followed by another from Nylander and one from Max Pacioretty, making it 4-1.
Despite Tampa Bay’s 5-on-3 power play, they couldn’t score. Stolarz’s standout save came when he stopped a close shot from Jake Guentzel as Toronto won for the fourth time in five games.
