Here are some more fan reactions:

"If you can’t see and admit that defense is our problem, the entire leadership team should be replaced. WTF," one wrote on X.
"Please move on from Sullivan. He’s done so much for our franchise, 16/17 was elite. But all he does is make line changes. We need a whole new scheme and new voice behind the bench," another fan wrote.

"At least the core gets to finish their careers in Pittsburgh so we can watch them be a part of the worst team in the league for several seasons," a user commented.
"I was at the game. The energy was crazy. They get the first goal and building exploded. After the second goal a timeout should’ve been called. After the 3rd goal, you’d have to be an idiot not to call a timeout. To wait until the 4th should make this Sully’s last game," another user wrote.

Arshdeep Bains, J.T. Miller, Elias Pettersson and Kiefer Sherwood scored for Vancouver, while Evgeni Malkin, Anthony Beauvillier and Bryan Rust scored the three Pittsburgh goals.

Kevin Lankinen stopped 20 shots for the Canucks, while Alex Nedeljkovic made 30 stops for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby's comments after loss to the Canucks

Despite the loss to the Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby saw positives in his team's play, highlighting their strong third-period performance.

“We had a good third, so try to build off of that – that urgency, that desperation. For most of the game we did a lot of good things,” Sidney Crosby said post-game.
“We got to find a way to not to allow momentum or chances to add up and pile up and make that the difference in the game, because we're working too hard to generate other chances to do good things to give it away like that.”

The Pittsburgh Penguins will look to rebound on Tuesday when they face the Minnesota Wild, while the Canucks take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday.
