Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi’s sister, Avery, showed her support for animals displaced by wildfires. She reshared a post from Pasadena Humane on her Instagram story, encouraging people to donate.
The original post said:
"Our biggest need right now is monetary donations, so we can provide resources to animals in need. You can make a donation at pasadenahumane.org/wildfirerelief (link in our bio). Thank you all for your support"
Adding her voice to the call for aid, Avery wrote:
"So many precious animals have been displaced from their homes & injured. The heroes at @pasadenahumane are saving them & need all the help they can get to give them the care they need. Please donate below"
Max has two siblings, Avery Rose and Carlin, and they share a close bond. Max was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Tie and Leanne Domi. His father, Tie, played in the NHL for over 16 years with teams like the Toronto Maple Leafs. After being traded, Tie moved to Toronto and raised Max there. Max was six when his parents divorced, but they remained supportive of him.
Max often credits his parents for helping him succeed, especially after his Type 1 diabetes diagnosis at age 12. His mother, Leanne, a real estate agent in Toronto, provided him with strong support during that time. His father, Tie, now lives in New York City with his wife, Heather McDonough. Despite their separation, the family remains connected.
Earlier Max Domi was seen off the ice with Ryan Reaves in a Christmas photo

Reaves dressed up as Santa Claus, while Domi dressed as his elf. Both players removed their front teeth for the photo. Reaves added the caption “Chrithmathss” to the post.
Max Domi has been playing well, with three goals and 12 assists this NHL season. He's an important part of the Maple Leafs third line, averaging 14:34 minutes of ice time per game.
