"Literally love December": Wayne Gretzky's daughter-in-law Sara shares highlights from holiday season

NHL legend Wayne Gretzky’s son Ty and daughter-in-law Sara Gretzky celebrated Christmas in Telluride, Colorado, with their daughters Sicily and Vienna. On Friday, Sara shared a glimpse of her family’s holiday celebrations on Instagram through a carousel of sweet pictures.

The first image showed Sicily and Vienna sharing a loving embrace. Sicily was dressed in a purple frock with Santa Claus prints and hugged her younger sibling Vienna, who was dressed in a cozy white outfit.

In the caption of the post, Sara wrote:

“I literally love December ☃️”

Another photo gave a peek at their holiday meal. The table was laden with fried fish fillets garnished with fresh herbs, golden mozzarella sticks served with marinara sauce, and a mixed salad. The third image showed a Christmas tree, decorated with colorful lights and ornaments, in the cozy living room. A small white toy piano was visible in the corner while red ribbons were used to decorate the staircase entrance.

One outdoor shot saw Vienna dressed warmly in a pink puffer snowsuit with white faux fur trim and a lavender beanie. She appeared to be enjoying the snowy outside, surrounded by tall evergreens.

The next photo featured Sicily standing beside the Christmas tree. Vienna was seen filling up a Frozen-themed coloring book while a plate of snacks lay on the table beside her. In another snowy scene, Sicily was captured in a yellow jacket, crouched down and playing in the snow.

Sara then shared a close-up of Sicily’s braided hair adorned with a large white bow. Another shot saw Sicily dressed as Anna from Frozen, walking through the snow.

There was a clip of snow falling serenely outside the cabin. Sara also posted a picture of herself on the slopes that focused on her colorful ski pants and skis gliding through the snow. The final picture captured Sara and Vienna on a snowy street. Bundled in a warm coat and pink beanie, Sara held Vienna while carrying a coffee cup.

Wayne Gretzky’s son Ty pens a sweet message for his daughter on Christmas

On Wednesday, Wayne Gretzky’s son Ty Gretzky also shared a heartwarming picture of his daughters Sicily and Vienna on Instagram, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

In the photo, Sicily wore a black plaid dress with a white collar and bow, placing her arm around Vienna, who wore a red long-sleeve shirt featuring a cartoon bear.

“My whole world. Merry Christmas 🎄❤️,” he wrote in the caption.

Ty also reposted a few Instagram stories from his wife Sara Gretzky’s account. One showed their decorated Christmas tree, glowing with multicolored lights and surrounded by gifts, as Vienna crouched by the wrapped presents. Another featured Sicily dressed as Anna from Frozen, walking through the snow.

The next stories saw Vienna unwrapping presents in her pajamas, a snowy view from their deck, and the girls sitting by the fireplace watching Frozen.
