The 26-year-old started his professional journey with the Vancouver Canucks in the 2018-19 season and played for them till the 2020-21 season, before moving to the Philadelphia Flyers.

MacEwen has played over 176 games, scored 13 goals, and assisted in 14 others. He has spent over an average of 10 minutes on the ice, including 233 penalty minutes at a shooting percentage of over 6.7.

In the current season, he has played 46 games while contributing to ninee goals overall, spending around 12 minutes on the Ice. He has scored three game-winning goals so far this season while shooting at a percentage of 6.7. His decent attributes got the attention of the Kings, who added him to their ranks recently.

The Los Angeles Kings have had a great season so far and are placed second in the Eastern Conference Pacific Division with 78 points. The Kings have done well on the offense and have scored over 200 goals in 63 starts this season.

Their offensive setup is very versatile and adding to their strength. MacEwen joins the group of six players who have been involved in the majority of the team's goals of the season.
