Max Jones shared a fun photo to celebrate former Anaheim Ducks teammate Cam Fowler’s 1,000th NHL game. Jones shared the picture on his Instagram story.

It showed Fowler wearing a yellow headpiece that looked like cartoon goggles with mouse-like ears, along with round sunglasses. The text on the photo read:

"WHEN YOU SCORE IN YOUR 1000 GAME AT THE WINTER CLASSIC," capturing the special moment.

Max Jones and Cam Fowler both played for the Anaheim Ducks together for six seasons. They developed a strong friendship in those six years, and in 2024, after moving on to different teams, they continued their friendship.

Max was drafted by Anaheim in 2016, 24th overall, and he played his first NHL season in 2018-19. He moved to the Boston Bruins in 2024. Cam Fowler was drafted in 2010 and played for the team for over 14 seasons. He moved to the St. Louis Blues in the 2024-25 midseason.

Cam Fowler shared his experience on his memorable 1000th NHL game

Cam Fowler played his milestone game during the 2025 NHL Winter Classic at Wrigley Field. He scored two goals, helping the St. Louis Blues win 6-2 against the Chicago Blackhawks. Fowler called the experience "surreal" and thanked his new team and family for their support.

“It’s pretty surreal,” Fowler said, per NHL.com. “Obviously, going through a lot of emotions the last few weeks, getting adjusted to a new team. But I couldn’t have asked for anything more for this experience, getting to share it with my family, all these guys and how they’ve made me feel so welcome and helped me with my transition.
“So, it was an awesome night for all of us, but more special because we got a win. That kind of seals everything,” Fowler said about the Blues win.

This was Fowler's ninth game with the Blues after being traded from the Anaheim Ducks. He became the first NHL player to play his 1,000th game in an outdoor setting.

Colton Parayko, who plays with Fowler as the Blues' top defensive pair, also praised his effort.

“Everything lined up,” Parayko said, “It was unreal. Just a guy that’s came and worked extremely hard and been a huge part of our team. We’re happy to have in a Blue note. It’s exciting to have him over here. He’s a great player, but just so happy for him."

Scoring two goals in his 1,000th game outdoors at Wrigley Field was very special.

“Two goals, 1,000th game outdoors at Wrigley after a win is pretty special,” Parayko said.

The celebration added a personal touch to Fowler’s memorable achievement.
