On Friday, Johnny Gaudreau's sister Katie shared a glimpse of their cozy family evening on her Instagram stories. The photo showed the Gaudreau family enjoying a movie night together during the holiday season.

The living room was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree near a fireplace. The family sat on a couch and blankets on the floor, watching a holiday movie on the TV.

Katie tagged her sister Kristen, her mother Jane and her friend Wendy Conover in the image. Her father Guy Gaudreau was also partly visible in the image, and Katie added a hilarious caption:

“Movie night: Daddy’s just here for the snacks.”

Johnny Gaudreau’s sister pens emotional gratitude message for Tankie’s Angels

Earlier this week, The Tankie’s Angels New Year’s Brigade held its annual parade, paying a special tribute to the late NHL stars Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, as well as Boston hockey alumnus Tony Voce. The tribute brought emotional responses from the Gaudreau family.

Johnny Gaudreau’s sister Katie shared her gratitude to Tankie’s Angels as she reposted a clip of their tribute performance on her Instagram stories.

“Matty was always proud of you but I'm sure today all four of the hockey angels were watching together being proud. Thanks for keeping their legacy alive in 2025. @sdin13”, she wrote.

The parade, which honors Salvatore “Tankie” Dinubile, featured performers wearing the brothers’ numbers — 13 for Johnny and 21 for Matthew. The brigade shared a video of the performance on Instagram, captioning it:

“For the past 3 years our goal has been to foster a community where we can honor Tankie. This year it was even more special as we were honoring not only Tankie but also Tony Voce and Johnny and Matty Gaudreau. We hope we made them all proud and did them justice.”

Katie also thanked the organizers of the tribute for carrying on her brother's legacy, as well as for trusting them to honor both her brother’s and Tony’s legacies.

“@ciararchristinaa 🙌🙌🙌Thanks for trusting my brother's legacy with your brother's legacy. We love you guys and our two families forever. 🕊️🕊️🕊️”, Katie Gaudreau added.
