During Thursday's matchup, Edmonton Oilers' Ty Emberson got into a spirited tilt against Minnesota Wild's Jakubb Lauko. Both players dropped the gloves in the first period at center ice and started landing a series of heavy punches back and forth.
Despite the intensity of the bout, neither player was able to gain the upper hand, and the fight ultimately ended in a draw, leaving spectators impressed by the display of grit from both sides.

Both Ty Emberson and Lauko received five-minute major penalties for fighting. This was the second time Emberle dropped his gloves this season. The Oilers lead the Wild 5-1 after the end of the second period.
Ty Emberson picked up a point in the Oilers' thumping win
The Edmonton Oilers dominated with a thumping 7-1 road victory against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. Leon Draisaitl had a stellar performance, collecting four points.
Evan Bouchard, Connor Brown, Connor McDavid, Darnell Nurse, and Vasily Podkolzin all contributed with two points each in the game.
Goalie Connor Pickard made 29 saves throughout the night. For the Wild, Frederick Gaudreau was the only player to score in the matchup.
Everyone was really good, but Leon really was at another level,” Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said via NHL.com. “His two linemates really helped out, [Vasily Podkolzin] and (Kasperi) Kapanen. Those three have been playing well.
“But Leon the last week or so has really been on top of his game.”
Ty Emberson, who picked up an assist for the Oilers, has accumulated three points through as many assists in 27 games this season.
The Oilers host the Vegas Golden Knights at Rogers Place next on Saturday. The puck drops at 4 p.m. ET.
