Renowned Toronto Maple Leafs fan Justin Bieber and wife have a new family member. The couple welcomed a son, named Jack Blues Bieber. The happy occasion has been met with plenty of congratulatory salutes from fans and admirers worldwide.

But the Bieber baby’s rather unusual name "Blues" led the St. Louis Blues to troll the Leafs via their official X account.

That tweet has drawn some interesting reactions from NHL fans. Here’s a look at some choice reactions from fans across the league.

But Bieber's heart will also be with the Leafs. In fact, Bieber's love for the Leafs has prompted the club to combine the team's popularity with Bieber's public notoriety.

In 2022, the Maple Leafs and Bieber teamed up to design new jerseys for the Leafs, per NHL.com. The jerseys drew plenty of enthusiasm from fans, leading the Leafs to include them as part of the team's alternate jersey rotation.

Born in London, Ontario, Bieber's connection to Toronto stems from early childhood. Now that there's a new generation of Biebers, Leafs fans hope the Bieber family tradition of cheering for the Leafs will live on for years to come.

Perhaps the current and new generation of Biebers will have an opportunity to cheer their hometown team as newly-named captain Auston Matthews hoists the Stanley Cup at the Scotiabank Arena.
