NHL fans are also displeased with the Fanatics jersey deal

The National Hockey League recently surprised fans by announcing that their current jersey sponsor, Adidas, will be replaced by Fanatics starting in 2024. Following the announcement, hockey fans expressed their dissatisfaction.

"Fanatics will replace Adidas as the NHL's outfitter of on-ice uniforms and authentic jerseys, beginning with the 2024-25 season on a 10-year deal. This marks the 1st time @Fanatics branding will be directly on an official player uniform for a pro sports property. @NHL"- Greg Wyshynski

Many fans are concerned that Fanatics will not be able to provide the same level of quality and authenticity that Adidas has provided. Adidas has been the official supplier of NHL jerseys since 2017, and they have been widely praised for their attention to detail and high-quality products.

Fans worry that Fanatics, a company that specializes in mass-produced merchandise, will not be able to replicate this level of quality and authenticity. Another reason that fans are concerned is that Fanatics will only provide a limited number of options for selecting their favorite team's jersey.

Additionally, fans feel that Fanatics will struggle to keep up with demand, leading to long wait times or limited availability of certain jerseys. Another factor that has worried fans about this deal is the limited customization options.

Fanatics might not offer the same level of customization options, limiting their ability to personalize their jerseys and show their support for their favorite teams and players. Catch the full story here.
