Connor Bedard on living on his own, away from home

Connor Bedard recently shared some candid insights about his experiences living away from home and attempting to navigate as a newbie in cooking.

During a press conference, he was asked about his experiences living on his own and his foray into cooking. In his typical down-to-earth fashion, Bedard responded:

"I eat a bit, but I haven't gone too much. I've been at the rink a lot and going home, trying to cook or whatever and figure that out. But, yeah, I think if I go out here and there, then I got recognized a little. But like I said, I've been here a lot and been home or at someone's house a good amount. So yeah."

When questioned about his cooking endeavors, the Blackhawks prospect humorously revealed that he relies on assistance from his mom, saying:

"Yeah, I just kind of FaceTime her, put her on the counter, and she tells me what to do, so she's making it easy on me. But yeah, maybe try to be a little more independent at some point."
