The 2023-24 NHL All-Rookie Team has been announced, featuring some of the brightest young stars in the league based on their performances last season. The Chicago Blackhawks’ Connor Bedard was the first of the three unanimous selections in the All-Rookie Team with 192 voting points.

Defensemen Brock Faber from the Minnesota Wild and Luke Hughes from the New Jersey Devils also earned unanimous selections, with 192 points each. Out of the three finalists for the Calder Trophy, Bedard was named Rookie of the Year for his exceptional performances during the regular season.

Logan Cooley of the Arizona Coyotes and Marco Rossi of the Minnesota Wild were the other two forwards selected. Cooley received 144 voting points, while Rossi got 145 points in the final voting list. In goal, Pyotr Kochetkov of the Carolina Hurricanes received 173 points and was named in the All-Rookie Team.

Connor Bedard collected his Calder Award on Thursday at Fontaineblea͏u ͏Las Vegas. The Blackhawks youngster heaped praise on fellow finalist Brock Faber in his acceptance speech.

“He’s a great player. There are so many great guys in the rookie class that could’ve gotten this. He was, all year, just a rock for them, and what he did, not only offensively but his all-around game was remarkable. He’s going to be a fun guy to watch for a lot of years,” Bedard said.
