J.T. Miller started his NHL journey with the New York Rangers in the 2012-13 season. 700 games, 192 goals and 320 assists later, Miller is fighting hard to keep the Canucks' playoffs hopes alive.
Miller has played 63 games this season and has contributed to 58 goals. He is currently tied for third in the Canucks scoring charts and will look to add more. With the Canucks an extremely long-shot for the playoffs, they will need every goal they can get.
A poor season has put Vancouver sixth in the Western Conference Pacific Division with 59 points. They are on a three-game winning streak and 19 points behind the fourth-placed Edmonton Oilers. They seemed dead in the water not long ago, but if they continue this streak, there is still a very slim chance they can make the playoffs.
Given that the points difference is big between them and the fourth spot, the Canucks can't lose afford to lose any more games.
Next up for Vancouver are the Ottawa Senators on March 11, 2023.
