Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid's wife Lauren Kyle announced her latest business project in downtown Edmonton. The venture, called Trove Living, will feature a luxury furniture showroom with exclusive designs.
It will also include Bar Trove, a space for fine wines and cocktails. The showroom is set to open in Spring 2025.
The project is located in the historic Canada Permanent Building at 10126 100 St NW. Lauren recently shared a video of the building and its ongoing renovations.
Sharing the post on Instagram, from the business' official account, she announced:
"We’re beyond excited to introduce Trove Living, a curated furniture showroom showcasing the most exclusive designs, alongside Bar Trove, where you’ll indulge in fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails. Opening Spring 2025!"
She previously shared photos of architectural plans and the building’s exterior. One image highlighted the tagline, "Curating Timeless Elegance."
Lauren’s new project aims to bring stylish and modern design to Edmonton while preserving the charm of a historic landmark.

This announcement follows the launch of her luxury sportswear brand, Sports Club Atelier. She also partnered with the Edmonton Oilers team for some limited edition merch launch in December.
Lauren said her Oilers sportswear collection was inspired by collegiate sportswear's history and spirit.
"My inspiration was really drawn from collegiate sportswear," Lauren said in the video shared by Oilers. "Just the spirit and the aesthetic and history behind collegiate sportswear."
She plans to release another collection before the NHL playoffs, offering new items for fans. Lauren praised Edmonton's strong hockey history and supportive fans:
"Edmonton, I mean, we have such a rich history of hockey here and such an amazing fan viewership."

Connor McDavid has not appealed his three-game suspension
Meanwhile, on the ice, Connor McDavid has chosen not to appeal his three-game suspension for cross-checking Conor Garland of the Vancouver Canucks.
The suspension followed an incident during the third period on Saturday. McDavid received a match penalty and will forfeit $195,312.51. NHL insider Chris Johnston shared that McDavid will not appeal the decision.
"While there was disappointment with the three-game suspension Connor McDavid was levied by @NHLPlayerSafety, the #oilers captain has decided not to appeal that decision, per sources," Johnston wrote in his tweet.
This season, McDavid has 65 points, including 20 goals and 45 assists, helping the Oilers win eight of their last 10 games.
