On Oct. 19, the Boston Bruins faced the Utah Hockey Club. Utah won the game 2-1 in overtime. Michael Kesselring scored the winning goal and Vladislav Kolyachonok tied the game. Goaltender Connor Ingram played well and had a goals-against average of 0.96 and a save percentage of .957.

After the game, Bruins fans were disappointed. A post on X (formerly Twitter) from the Bruins led many fans to share their frustrations about the team’s performance.

"Pasta more washed then a hotel towel," a fan said referring to David Pastrnak’s lackluster play.
"Marchand is garbage so far," another fan reflected the dissatisfaction with the star players.

"You guys fu**ing suck . This whole team needs to seriously wake up. No one is doing anything but the 4th line," a fan commented.
"Swayman cannot continue to be the only one showing up. The Carlo/Lindholm pairing needs to rethink their future too C’mon!! Let’s get it together and play the FULL 60minutes #NHLBruins," a fan tweeted.

Michael Kesselring's overtime goal leads Utah to victory over Boston Bruins

In the first period, the game had no goals but two penalities. Boston's Kevin Stenlund tripped David Pastrnak, getting a penalty. Later, Charlie McAvoy was called for high-sticking Dylan Guenther.

In the second period, Cole Koepke scored for Boston, assisted by Brad Marchand, at 12:49. This made the score 1-0. The period also had penalties. Robert Bortuzzo and Mark Kastelic received roughing calls. Nikita Zadorov got a hooking penalty against Logan Cooley. The Bruins worked to keep their lead, but Utah kept pushing back.

In the third period, Utah pushed hard for a goal. Vladislav Kolyachonok scored at 14:51, assisted by Nick Schmaltz and Clayton Keller, tying the game. This shifted the momentum, and Utah gained confidence. Later, Clayton Keller received a hooking penalty against Charlie Coyle.

Overtime started with excitement as Michael Kesselring scored the game-winning goal for Utah just 2:46 into the period. He was assisted by Mathew Maccelli and Logan Cooley. This goal secured the victory for Utah.

Boston had 23 shots on goal, while Utah had 32. Utah won 53.1% of face-offs, and Boston had 46.9%. Neither team scored on the power play. Boston had 10 penalty minutes, while Utah had eight. Utah leads the season series 1-0. The two teams will meet again on Nov. 21.
