Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine's fiancée, Jordan Leigh, is set to appear on a podcast with YouTuber Kati Morton. Leigh, a mental health advocate and MA candidate in Mental Health Counseling at NYU, shared the news on her Instagram story, posting a photo with Morton and captioning it:

"So much fun podcasting with angel of a human @katimortan today!

Leigh revealed that she's excited to share the podcast with fans soon, covering topics such as mental health, life as an NHL player's partner, and more about her relationship with Laine.

"Talking all things mental health, hockey WAG life, and learning a little more about me (and Patty) behind the scenes. Can't wait for you guys to hear it", she further wrote in the caption.

Mental health advocacy is a vital part of both Leigh's and Patrik Laine's lives. Last season, the Finnish right-winger missed most of the NHL season due to a fractured clavicle and later entered the NHL Player Assistance Program to prioritize his mental health and well-being. He received treatment for six months until July last year.

Last August, Jordan Leigh and Patrik Laine launched "From Us to You," an innovative online mental health support group that provides a safe space for users to share their experiences anonymously or publicly.

The couple regularly utilizes their massive social media following to promote mental health awareness, frequently posting related content on their Instagram accounts, often jointly.

Interestingly, Jordan Leigh shared a series of snaps on Instagram from a mental health event hosted by the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation, just an hour before announcing her upcoming podcast with Kati Morton. Notably, Patrik Laine also attended the event and posted about it on his own Instagram account.

Patrik Laine made his season debut on Dec. 3 against the New York Islanders, following a 24-game absence. The right winger's injury stemmed from a knee-on-knee collision with Toronto Maple Leafs forward Cédric Paré in a preseason exhibition game on Sept. 28.

Since his return, Laine has delivered a strong performance, scoring eight goals in just 13 games – notably, all of his goals came on power plays. However, after missing two months of action, Patrik Laine is once again sidelined due to flu-like symptoms, last playing on Dec. 31. He has since missed four games, including the team's trip to Washington to face the Capitals on Friday.

Fortunately for Canadiens fans, Laine was spotted practicing, and his power play skills are likely to be back in action soon. He may return as early as Saturday night when Montreal hosts the Dallas Stars at Bell Centre.
