Pittsburgh Penguins announce Halloween celebration plans during home game against Anaheim Ducks

Get ready for a Halloween Extravaganza as Pittsburgh Penguins go head to head with the Anaheim Ducks in their home game at 7:00 p.m. ET on Monday, Oct 30, 2023, at the iconic PPG Paints Arena.

In a move to combine the thrilling world of professional hockey with the spooky spirit of Halloween, the Pittsburgh Penguins management has annnouced an array of thrilling activities that promise to make this game one for the books.

The PPG Paints Arena will undergo a supernatural transformation, complete with haunted hallways and eerie decorations, turning the stadium into the ultimate haunted hockey haven.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to come dressed in their most creative Halloween costumes, adding a dash of frightful fun to the evening.

The Penguins' Halloween Celebration will feature a costume contest and an array of entertaining Halloween-themed activities.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the intermission entertainment. Partcipants will have the chance to win exclusive Pittsburgh Penguins merchandise, future game tickets, and other fantasic prizes.

Fans and supporters are advised to get their spookiest, silliest, and most creative Halloween attire ready for a chance to strut their stuff on the ice, win exciting prizes, including autographed jerseys and delectable treats from Milkshake Factory. With one winner to be choosen during each period, the excitement is guaranteed.

But the Halloween fun doesn't stop there. Additionally, a free green screen photo booth with Halloween-themed backgrounds and props will be available in the DICK'S Sportings Goods Wall of Champion hallway behind Section 110, along with free face painting.

The electrifying collaboration of nationally recognized speed painter Cody Sabol and Penguins DJ, DJ Petey C, will present a live Halloween-themed performance painting at PPG Paints Arena.

Plus, a display of painted Penguins pumpkins, courtery of PPG, can be found in the DICK'S Sporting Goods Wall of Champions hallway.

Keep an eye out for Iceburgh, in-arena host Jayden Becker, and members of the Orr's Jewelers Ice Crew, who will all be in costume throughtout the game.
