Andersson spoke to the media after the game and talked about his milestone.

“It feels good that it's with the flames and I'm proud that I've played all 499 here," Andersson said. "So, exciting night and there's a lot of people I can thank for being in this spot. Thanks to my teammates, coaches, family and everyone around me that has helped me to come along.”

The Calgary Flames pulled off a 3-1 win over the high-flying Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. Flames goalie Dustin Wolf made 38 saves as the Jets outshot his team 39-22.

“It was fun," Wolf said, via NHL.com. "They threw a lot of pucks at the net and gladly I was able to see most of them. It doesn’t matter how many shots they put on, it’s if we score one more goal than them (and) the whole team is going to probably be happy and have a happy flight home.”

Blake Coleman had a goal and two assists for the Flames, while Adam Lowry scored the Jets’ lone goal in the second period. The loss snapped Winnipeg’s three-game win streak. It was also a rare home loss for the team as it has the best home record in the league this season.

Calgary Flames forward Ryan Lomberg also reached a milestone, playing in his 300th career game. The win improved Calgary's record to 10-1-1 this season when leading after the first period.

Tessa revealed her second pregnancy in a special New Year’s message on Jan. 1, 2024.

"Can’t wait to watch Benji become a big brother in 2024 🥹🎀🌸💗 We are so excited to meet our little girl and for everything to come this year. Happy new year everyone," Tessa captioned.

Rasmus has often spoken about juggling his family responsibilities with his playing career, especially after the birth of his first child.
