Sarah Nurse is a professional ice hockey player from Canada. She is one of the most popular faces in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) and plays for the National Ice Hockey Team for the Canadian Women.
Her career is full of high notes, as she has won Gold Medals at the Olympics and World Championships. Sarah Nurse first won a gold medal at the 2013 World U18 Championship, which was held in Finland.
Every year during Bye Week, the NHL All-Star event takes place. This year, Sarah was invited. Similar to her run at the Olympics, she surprised everyone and stole the show.
In the event, Sarah Nurse was tasked with putting the puck in the goal post in a one-on-one round game against Igor Shesterkin. Igor is a reputed ice hockey goaltender, who plays for New York Rangers.
Sarah Nurse started with a slow skate move as she headed towards Igor, who had his eyes locked on the puck, but Nurse countered well against Igor with her smooth moves. She was able to trick Igor into moving to the right side of the goalpost. She smoothly slipped the puck into the goalpost from his left.
The crowd was overwhelmed by her mobility, and Sarah Nurse received a round of applause for her amazing goal. After her goal, she went on to give a high-five to Mitchell Marner, who was there on the rink.
After the goal, Nurse was quite thrilled and she said:

After making her debut for the national team at the age of 20 in the "4 Nations Cup," she was selected to be a part of the Canadian Ice Hockey team, who won silver at the 2018 Winter Olympics. It was held in PyeongChang, South Korea. During which, she scored her first goal at the Olympics. Team Canada defeated the United States, 2-1, to take home the silver medal after the shootout round.
In 2022, Nurse was once again part of the team that was going to represent Canada at the Olympics. The 2022 Olympics were held in Beijing, China. In the tournament, she clinched two Olympic records for the year in the category of most points and most assists. She scored 18 points, including 13 assists. It resulted in a win, and Team Canada brought home gold from the Olympics.
