Fans reacted as the Boston Bruins host 6-2 to the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Friday. Dmitri Voronkov scored twice and had an assist, while Sean Monahan scored two goals for Columbus.
Zach Werenski contributed four assists, while Kirill Marchenko had a goal and two assists. Elvis Merzlikins made 23 saves for the Blue Jackets, who are 3-0-1 in their last four games.
The Bruins posted the final score on X, and fans reacted with frustration.

How the Boston Bruins lost to the Blue Jackets
The Boston Bruins were dominated by the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday at Nationwide Arena. Sean Monahan scored a power-play goal at 11:29 of the first period, giving Columbus the lead. Pavel Zacha tied it at 1-1 after a clever no-look pass from David Pastrnak.
Adam Fantilli made it 2-1 early in the second period before Monahan’s second goal at 8:13 extended Columbus' lead to 3-1. Voronkov added two power-play goals, at 9:47 and 19:14, to make it 5-1.
In the third period, Kirill Marchenko scored at 3:04, increasing the lead to 6-1. Charlie Coyle scored for Boston at 4:08 to reduce the deficit. Columbus dominated special teams, going 3-for-3 on power plays and outworking the Bruins throughout the game.
