What an incredible run Sergei Bobrovsky has put together for the Florida Panthers in the 2023 playoffs. His stellar performances are one of the main reasons for the Florida Panthers' incredible playoff run.

On Monday, Sergei Bobrovsky maintained his fine form and delivered another outstanding performance for the Panthers in Game 3 against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Panthers beat the Hurricanes 1-0 to lead the series 3-0.

The Hurricanes attempted 32 shots on goal against the Panthers, all of which were saved by Bobrovsky, who shut out the Hurricanes to move his team one step closer to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Florida Panthers' 34-year-old goaltender earned his first shutout win in 64 playoff games, in the process.

Florida Panthers fans were ecstatic with Bobrovsky's stellar performance and showered the netminder with praise. One said:

"This is a Tim Thomas/Jonathan Quick-style playoff run for Sergei Bobrovsky. Even as a B's fan, I have to admit—this is special."

Here are some of the top reactions on Twitter:

Bobrovsky has appeared in 13 games in the 2023 playoffs, posting a 10-2 record with a 2.15 goals-against-average and a .935 save percentage.

He had his best game during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, which lasted for nearly seven periods, making 63 saves. Bobrovsky will hope to continue his stellar performance when the Panthers and Carolina Hurricanes meet in Game 4 on Wednesday.

Bobrovsky was never drafted into the NHL. He began his career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2010. After spending one season with them, he was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2012, where he spent seven seasons.

After his stint with the Jackets, Bobrovsky was traded to the Florida Panthers in 2019, with whom he signed a hefty seven-year, $70 million contract. On Feb. 10, 2020, he participated in his 500th NHL game, a notable accomplishment, even though the Panthers lost to the Philadelphia Flyers 4-1.

Unfortunately, Bobrovsky had a tough season. He ended the 2019-20 regular season with a 23-16-9 record in 50 games before the league was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

His lowest goals against average (GAA) and save percentage since the 2011-12 campaign, which came before his time with the Columbus Blue Jackets, were 3.23 and .900, respectively.

Sergei Bobrovsky has a career record of 360-207-51 with a 2.61 goals-against average and a .915 save percentage in 642 games.
