"Such an amazing person": Fans proud as Valeri Bure's wife Candace donates clothes to LA fire victims in a heartwarming gesture

Former NHL player Valeri Bure’s wife, Candace, has been active on social media, rallying support for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. Over the past two weeks, Candace has reached out to her fan base to organize donation drives and raise awareness about emergency response information.

Candace Cameron Bure, a Hollywood actress best known for her role as DJ Tanner in the hit sitcom "Full House," was a resident of Pacific Palisades with her husband Valeri Bure till 2024, one of the regions hardest hit by the wildfires. On Saturday, she shared a video on Instagram showing preparations for a clothing drive she was set to host.

“L.A. fire relief continues!!!! 🤎 I’ve donated ALL of my items (and more) from the CCB clothing line to @openclosit for their open shopping day happening for those who have been affected by the LA fires," Candance said. "So many incredible brands have donated. Spread the word and make sure to bring your FEMA grant number and ID,” Candace posted.
“Thank you to the community. Thank you to responders. Thank you to volunteers,” subtitles in the video post read.

The drive is set to be held at 1101 Montana Avenue in Santa Monica on Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm, with the information stated in the post caption.

Candace’s fans and followers reacted to the post with excitement and happiness, complimenting the actress for her heartwarming efforts. Some offered to volunteer for the drive and former Montreal Canadiens star Valeri Bure's wife enthusiastically accepted their help.

Valeri Bure’s wife Candace shares emotional message about the LA wildfires

On Jan. 10, Candace posted a video message to support the people affected by the wildfires. She shared her family's memories of the Pacific Palisades, which is among the regions worst hit by the fire. Her post caption said:

“My heart is so heavy. Just sharing my emotions and stories here. I am in deep prayer for the communities, people and friends who have lost everything from the fires. And also the heroes who are helping. I sit in grief with you. I kneel in prayer with you. I hold you tightly. May God comfort you in a ways that surpass understanding.”

Candace also shared that she and Valeri had lived in the Palisades for over 30 years and had many fond memories of living there.
