JT Miller and the Vancouver Canucks lost 5-4 in overtime to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, dropping their third consecutive game. It was Miller's sixth game since returning from a leave of absence. The Canucks forward has been relatively quiet with just four points (zero goals, four assists) over that stretch.

Reports of a rift between Miller and Elias Pettersson have grown louder recently. It appears that the issues are creeping into their play on the ice, which has started to frustrate Canucks fans.

Fans reacted on X in response to a video of Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson's game-winning goal on Saturday.

"The JT Miller experience," one fan wrote.
"Miller is a ghost," another fan said.

Canucks fans have not been shy about voicing out their displeasure about Miller's recent play and off-ice controversies.

Vancouver Canucks Elias Pettersson spoke postgame Saturday night on his relationship with JT Miller

Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson spoke to the media on Saturday following the team's overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators. Speaking for the first time since reports of a rift between him and JT Miller became public, Pettersson gave an interesting response.

"Well, it's the same answer, it's good," Pettersson said. "I don't know why people still try and make s*** up, excuse my language, but yeah, that's my response to that."

He was then asked about whether it's been a distraction to the team but Pettersson refused to answer it.

"Oh my god, next question," Pettersson said.

While the exact details of what is causing the rumored rift between Miller and Pettersson are unknown, the Canucks need to turn things around soon so they can go back to their winning ways.

The Vancouver Canucks will be back in action on Monday when they face the San Jose Sharks in their final game before the Christmas break. The puck drops at 9 p.m. EST at Rogers Arena.
