The New Jersey Devils have re-signed forward Nolan Foote to a one-year, two-way contract. The deal is worth $825,000 at the NHL level and $150,000 in the AHL, with $200,000 guaranteed.
The Devils announced the signing on X (formerly Twitter), with the caption,

It didn't take long for NHL fans to react to the news.

New Jersey Devils' resignee Nolan Foote and other offseason moves
Nolan Foote is currently 23 years old. Last season, he scored one goal in four NHL games after recovering from a lower back injury. Foote also played four games with the AHL's Utica Comets, recording three goals and one assist.
In his NHL career, he has scored six goals and two assists in 23 games. He debuted in the NHL on April 18, 2021, against the New York Rangers. Foote has also played 138 AHL games, scoring 44 goals and 46 assists.
Born in Denver on November 29, 2000, Foote was drafted 27th overall by Tampa Bay in 2019. The Devils acquired him in a trade in 2020 and played 195 WHL games with Kelowna, scoring 83 goals and 88 assists.
Foote represents Canada internationally, winning gold at the 2020 World Junior Championship. He is the son of Adam Foote, a two-time Stanley Cup champion.
