Former NHLer JT Brown’s wife, Lexi LaFleur, recently celebrated her son Booker’s sixth birthday by sharing heartfelt and candid memories on Instagram. Through a series of stories, Lexi reflected on the joys and challenges of motherhood that she had experienced over the years.
Brown and LeFleur have two children, daughter Lily Willow Brown, born in 2017, and son Booker, born in 2018. On Saturday, Lexi LaFleur posted a throwback clip of Lily and Booker and wrote how their lives "changed forever" six years ago.
She then shared an image of herself holding her baby, reminiscing about a funny moment where she recalls him peeing on her.
“Since birth Booker has had impeccable comedic timing. He still loves to tell everyone he used to pee on me all the time when he was a baby,” Lexi wrote in the caption.
The next photo showed Booker as a baby in a onesie. Lexi joked about how many babies were born among the Minnesota Wild team during that single hockey season. She wrote:
“Booker was one of like 10 Minnesota Wild babies born that hockey season. There was like 30 kids on that team (that's A LOT)! Guess there's not much else to do in MN than get cozy in the sheets.”
She also discussed the challenges of motherhood and her breastfeeding journey while working on her PhD in Education at Walden University.
“Having babies 18 months apart with a pro athlete husband, while getting my Ph.D. was HARD (and beautiful, and exciting and rewarding and fun),” Lexi LaFleur wrote.
“I nursed for three and a half years straight (tandem for 6 months). TOUGH TITS FOR REALLLL.”
