Team Canada fans are upset after another practice was canceled ahead of the World Junior Championship quarterfinals. Canada’s group-stage performance was mixed. They won 4-0 against Finland but lost to Latvia 3-2. A narrow 3-0 win over Germany kept their hopes alive, but a 4-1 loss to the U.S. put them in third place in their group.

Despite the struggles, they are moving on to the quarterfinals and will face Czechia on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. ET. Hockey insider Cam Robinson shared his frustration on social media.

“So just to recap: Lose to Latvia: cancel practice. Lose to USA: cancel practice. Do-or-die QF match: cancel morning skate. Not sure how this Canadian team can justify this,” Robinson wrote.

Fans quickly responded to the tweet, questioning the team’s preparation.

“Unserious team with an unserious coach,” one fan wrote.
“It’s tough taking all those penalties; half the squad is gassed. Lol,” another fan said.
"This ice time should be mandatory with 0 exceptions, you don't practice you don't play," one fan commented.
"Why does it feel like we used to take this tournament more seriously than any other country and now it’s like we’re the only ones who are too cool for school?" another fan questioned.

Here are some more reactions from fans to Team Canada's canceled practice:

"The game really has changed. Zero discipline or desire to get out there and work hard for it. And it shows on the ice," a fan wrote.
"Can't wait for the big loss tonight. So Cameron has to stand there and answer all the tough question," another fan said.
"It’s painfully obvious that they not only picked the wrong players but the wrong coach as well. Cameron looks lost and should never have been the choice," one fan uttered.

The quarterfinal is a must-win game for Canada, but canceled practices have raised concerns about their readiness.
