NHL legend Valeri Bure’s wife and American actress Candace Bure shared a hilarious incident with her followers that happened on Friday. Candace had a funny mix-up with her son’s car with someone else’s.
Candace Cameron Bure posted a video while driving her son, Lev Valerievich’s, car on her Instagram story and narrated the incident. She said:
“Okay, I'm driving my son's car today, and why did I just spend 10 minutes trying to break into someone else's car? Because I thought it was his car, and I couldn't get the key to work, and I couldn't open the door, and then I was like, ah, these electric cars, and I was like going around to all the, you know.”
“And then I think on, I don't know, the third time around in the car, I noticed a baby seat in the back, and I was like, huh, not Webb's car, okay,” she added.
After several tries, Candace finally realized it wasn’t her son's car when she noticed a baby seat in the back. That’s when it hit her that she had been trying to break into someone else’s car the whole time.
Candace and Valeri Bure have three children together—two sons, Lev Valerievich Bure and Maksim Valerievich Bure, and one daughter, Natasha Valerievna Bure.
Valeri Bure and Candace Bure share hockey parenting advice
Earlier this month, Valeri Bure made his first appearance on Candace Bure's podcast. The couple, who have been married for over 28 years now, shared valuable parenting advice regarding raising their three children, all now in their 20s.
Valeri mentioned the importance of investing time in kids, noting that while many parents feel overwhelmed by other responsibilities, time with their children is irreplaceable. He shared that simply being present—whether sitting down to talk or attending their events—makes a huge difference, as children notice and value it.
“One of the things—I mean, we all know raising kids is one of the toughest jobs in the world,” Bure said. "But it’s also rewarding; it pays off as your kids get older. One of the things I always say is, you’ve got to invest your time. It’s the time you invest in your kids.”
Candace praised Valeri for being a "rockstar dad" and expressed how grateful she was for his role in shaping their children’s lives.
“You're an incredible father and an incredible partner, and I mean, I know our kids wouldn't be who they are today without you and all of the coaching and training that you've done, and you and I together have done over the years with them,” she said.
Candace acknowledged that the teamwork between them had been key in raising their children, crediting Valeri’s guidance and commitment for much of their success as parents.
