We have seen everything happening in ice hockey, and the latest addition to that is the fight between Remi Poirier and Yaroslav Askarov during an AHL game between the Texas Stars and the Milwaukee Admirals.

The Stars played brilliantly to take a lead in six minutes through a goal from Antonio Stranges. But as soon as the game entered into the third period, both the goalies came into an argument that turned into a fight.

The referees controlled the situation and the game ended with a 5-3 score in favor of the Stars.

As the video emerged online, fans took to Twitter to record their reactions, with most of them enjoying the fight and the game.

Remi Poirier has not played much in the stats and has only started four effective games for the team. He has three wins and an OT loss in four starts averaging over 60 minutes on the Ice per game.

Poirier has made over 115 saves at a save percentage of 0.934 and has conceded less than two goals per game in this period. He has been picked up by the Dallas Stars in round 6 of the 2020 draft.

On the other hand, Yaroslav Askarov has played 36 games and has spent over 2000 minutes on the Ice. Averaging 2.56 goals per game, he has 20 wins and four OT losses during this period.

He has done well with over 940 saves at a save percentage of 0.913. Though his last game was his poorest until this season, and he would like to improve this in the coming future. Yaroslav Askarov was picked by the Nashville Predators in round 1 of the 2020 draft.

What's next for the Texas Stars and the Milwaukee Admirals?

The Texas Stars are leading the Central Division with 70 points and a winning percentage of 0660. They have won 30 games and lost the other, including seven OT losses.

They have scored over 190 goals and have allowed 150 in return and with 19 games still to play, the Stars will look to maximize their lead in the league in the coming games.

In comparison, the Milwaukee Admirals are second in the Central Division with 67 points at a winning percentage of over 0.632. Having won 31 in 53 games so far. They have scored 178 goals and have conceded 151 goals in return. With the division title in mind, the Admirals will look to get back to winning ways as they face the Stars again on March 4, 2023.
