Former NHL superstar Wayne Gretzky’s wife, Janet Gretzky, shared a special New Year's video of her 103-year-old mother, Jean Jones, extending greetings to the actress’ fans and followers.
“Happy New Year, 2025 is going to be a Great One. Love My Mom Jean!” Janet captioned.
The short clip shows Jean relaxing at home and holding a party horn. She wished everyone a “Happy New Year and New Year’s Eve” before blowing the noisemaker. Her first try didn't work and Jean had a good laugh before trying again and succeeding.
Jean’s resilience and good humor impressed those who watched the video, with supportive messages in the post’s comment section.

Jean’s message was only a part of the Gretzky family's New Year’s Day celebration. Her granddaughters Paulina and Emma welcomed the new year with them in Aspen, Colorado. A large group gathered around the dinner table and counted down to Jan. 1 with their partners as celebrations erupted when midnight struck.
Paulina shared the festive celebrations on her Instagram story. Emma also shared glimpses of her mountain holiday with her sister. The post showed Emma warming up by an open outdoor fire as snow fell around her.
