The Philadelphia Flyers won a high-scoring game against the Minnesota Wild, finishing 7-5. Sean Couturier was the star of the show for the FLyers. He scored a hat trick of goals, starting with a goal 1:18 minutes into the game, and then scored the second and third in the third period. He finished the game by scoring a goal with one minute remaining on the clock in the third period.

After the Flyers X (formerly Twitter) account posted:

"The Orange & Black win a Wild one,"

NHL fans reacted on social media to Philly's win over the Wild. Some fans were excited by the Flyers’ strong offensive performance, which was a change from recent games. However, not all reactions were positive.

One fan wrote, “Where the hell was this the last 6 games?! Pathetic team.”
"holy defense" another shared.
"Well it’s about time we win a game. Maybe now, Torts will stop fucking with Couturier. It seems Sean, is back to his old form. The goaltending is a problem. We can’t expect the team to score 7 goals a game every night. Hopefully, they can build on this win and keep it going." one fan shared his opinion.

Here are some more reactions from fans on X:

"Thanks for the birthday present of a win!" a fan wrote.
"Great 3rd period, and an amazing win" another wrote.
"Fire this shit show coach and circus management group. What a clown show this team has become." a fan showed discontent.

Philadelphia will need more steady performances to gain full support from their fans.

Flyers' offensive dominance helped them win 7-5

Apart from hat trick goals, Sean Couturier chipped in two assists for five points to lead Philadelphia to a 7-5 win over the Wild. This was the Philly's first regulation win, ending their six-game losing streak. Travis Konecny added a goal and four assists, while Nick Seeler, Matvei Michkov, and Rasmus Ristolainen each had a goal and assist. Philly goalie Samuel Ersson made 21 saves.

Marcus Foligno scored twice for the Wild, and Joel Eriksson Ek and Kirill Kaprizov also contributed with points. Foligno’s second goal gave the Wild a brief lead in the third, but the Flyers answered with goals from Konecny and Couturier. Ristolainen scored the game-winner with under three minutes left, and Couturier finished the game with an empty-net goal.
