Vladimir Tarasenko is the captain of the St. Louis Blues in the NHL. The St. Louis Blues selected him in the 2010 NHL Draft. Prior to joining the NHL, he was a member of Sibir Novosibirsk and later joined the KHL (Kontinental Hockey League). After three seasons, he was traded to SKA Saint Petersberg.
