Maple Leafs forward William Nylander’s sister Ella shared a sneak peek of her game-day experience while attending the Leafs vs. Canucks game on Saturday. She posted a picture of her snacks on her Instagram stories while sitting in the gallery of a packed Scotiabank Arena.

Ella showed off her "sideline essentials," which included two delicious-looking chocolate chip cookies and a mini cupcake with a swirl of cream frosting, all neatly placed on a small plate. In the background, the crowded arena was visible with fans donning Leafs jerseys, sitting in the gallery.

The Maple Leafs were blanked 3-0 by the Vancouver Canucks on the night, marking their second consecutive loss. The Leafs fell behind early when Brock Boeser scored just 31 seconds into the game off a deflection from Tyler Myers’ point shot. Despite several chances, Toronto couldn’t find a way to beat Canucks goalie Kevin Lankinen.

Quinn Hughes added to the Canucks’ lead late in the second period on a delayed penalty call, and Kiefer Sherwood sealed the game with a goal early in the third period. The loss comes after a 6-3 road defeat in Carolina on Thursday, which snapped Toronto’s five-game winning streak.

Following the game, head coach Craig Berube said the team did not play with enough pace and lacked energy throughout the game. Berube mentioned that the team struggled to generate offense, failing to capitalize on three power play opportunities which could have given them a momentum boost.

William Nylander’s sister Ella dined at Japanese restaurant in downtown Toronto

Earlier last month, Ella Nylander had shared a wrap up 2024 post featuring a multi-course dinner at Nobu, which is a high-end Japanese restaurant in downtown Toronto. Through a series of Instagram stories along with a carousel of pictures on her account, Ella offered a look into the special meal.

The dinner included seafood and a selection of Japanese cuisine-inspired dishes, including makizushi. In the caption, Ella wrote:

“My last meal in 2024 was nobulicious”

The post featured images of various other courses throughout the dinner. In one, Ella captured a mirror selfie while at home in front of their dresser.

Ella also shared a video from Scotiabank Arena, where the Toronto Maple Leafs won 3-1 over the New York Islanders earlier that day. Her brother, William Nylander recorded two assists on the occasion.
