NHL fans are reacting strongly to 'Frozen Frenzy Day', where all 32 teams will be in action, on Tuesday. ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN+ will broadcast the games.
The first game starts at 6 p.m. ET with the Philadelphia Flyers taking on Washington Capitals, followed by more matchups, including the Los Angeles Kings vs. Vegas Golden Knights, at 11 p.m. ET.
NHL insider Frank Seravalli shared the schedule, saying:
"Happy Frozen Frenzy Day."
Some fans had mixed reactions to the NHL Frozen Frenzy.
"Happy NHL doesn’t know how to make a schedule day!" One fan joked.
"Spread the games out more evenly throughout the week, I can't watch all these games at once anyway. It's brutal for fantasy too, I had one guy playing last night and tonight I'll have 3 sitting on my bench," a fan wrote.
"Why doesn’t this start early? If you’re going to play all those games give us a full day of hockey," another wrote.
Despite some complaints, many fans are excited about the event and eager to watch their favorite teams. Here are some reactions on X:
"It's all scattered too. It's beautiful," a fan mentioned.
"Hope the NHL moves away from this moving forward. How many games are people realistically tuning into on nights like this? Spread the games, give the people something good to watch every night," a fan said.
"Love it. I do wish the league would consider doing another one later in the year, on a weekend. Maybe, once the 'feared' 🙄NFL/ College Football seasons are over," another fan said.
