Nathan MacKinnon won the 2023-24 NHL Hart Memorial Trophy
Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche won the Hart Memorial Trophy on July 27th as the NHL's most valuable player, capping off an impressive season with 51 goals and 89 assists. This marks his first Hart Trophy after being a finalist four times.
MacKinnon received 137 of 194 first-place votes, finishing ahead of Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov. He is the third player in franchise history to win the award, joining Peter Forsberg and Joe Sakic. MacKinnon recorded points in 69 of 82 games this season.
