The NHL All-Star game (National Hockey League All-Star Game) is an exhibition event that symbolizes mostly the halfway point of the regular season of ice hockey every year. It is generally held in January or February, although since 2022, it has always been held in February.
The NHL All-Star games featured games involving four teams fighting it out to become the All-Star winner since 2016. The NHL All-Star game also features the NHL All-Star Skills Competition, in which the players from different teams show off their playing skills. The NHL All-Stars have earned huge followership in recent years.
In the past, the event mainly featured an All-Stars player team competing against the winner of the Stanley Cup from the previous year (from 1947 to 1968). However, in between these years, the event featured games between an American All-Star team and a Canadian All-Star Team in 1951 and 1952.
