The Edmonton Oilers will look to get back in the win column after a 5-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins as they face off against the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday.
After kicking off the new year with a four-game win streak, the Oilers were handed their first loss of 2025 on Thursday. Chicago is also heading into Saturday's game following a 5-3 defeat as they lost to the Detroit Red Wings on Friday.
The Oilers are third in the Pacific Division; however, with a win on Saturday, they could move into second place depending on the result between the LA Kings and Calgary Flames matchup.

Following Saturday's game in Chicago, Edmonton will head home to host the LA Kings on Monday before hitting the road again for a three-game stretch. The Oilers will face the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday, Colorado Avalanche on Thursday and Vancouver Canucks on Saturday.
The team will then return home for a six-game stretch that will carry them through the end of January.
