The Edmonton Oilers will look to make it five in a row when they collide with the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday. With a win, Edmonton will tie their longest win streak of the season following a 4-0 shutout win over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday.

Heading into Thursday's game, Edmonton is No. 2 in the Pacific Division standings with 53 points, six points behind the Vegas Golden Knights, who lead the division.

Pittsburgh is heading into the game on a four-game skid, that most recently saw them drop a 4-3 loss to Columbus on Tuesday. The loss had major implications for the divisional standings, with both teams now tied at 42 points.

When the Oilers take the ice, they will once again be without winger Evander Kane, who remains on the long-term injured reserve list with no updates on his return.

Looking at the odds for tonight's Oilers vs Penguins game as well as upcoming games on Edmonton's schedule

Heading into the game between the Oilers and the Penguins, Edmonton is sitting as a betting favorite on most major sportsbooks. Despite Edmonton's success as of late and the Penguins' struggles, the odds are much closer than one would expect.

On FanDuel, Edmonton is a -188 favorite while on the flip side, Pittsburgh is a +155 underdog. Meanwhile, on DraftKings, Edmonton is a -180 favorite while Pittsburgh is a +150 underdog.

If these lines stay the same between now and puck drop, it would take a $180 bet on Edmonton as the favorites to win $100 on DraftKings while a $100 bet on Pittsburgh as the underdogs could win $150.

Following the game against the Penguins, the Oilers will head to Chicago for a showdown with the Blackhawks on Saturday before heading home to host the Los Angeles Kings on Monday.

From there the team will hit the road for a three-game stretch that will see them play the Wild on Wednesday and the Avalanche on Thursday before wrapping up next week with a game against the Vancouver Canucks.
