The Ottawa Charge is a professional ice hockey team based in Ottawa, Ontario. They play at TD Place Arena and were established as one of the league's six founding franchises. The team was announced on August 29, 2023, and later named Carla MacLeod as head coach. Ottawa signed Canadian national team players including Emily Clark, Brianne Jenner, and Emerance Maschmeyer.

Their first-ever game took place on January 2, 2024, setting a record for the largest attendance at a women’s hockey game with 8,318 spectators. The team's name, Charge, was unveiled in September 2024. Their logo features an unfinished circle symbolizing the initials "OC," and their color scheme includes red, gold, white and storm.

Ottawa Charge regular season 2024-2025 schedule

According to the PWHL, The Ottawa Charge’s 2024-25 PWHL regular season will begin on November 30 against Montréal Victoire and conclude on May 3, 2025, against the Toronto Sceptres. The schedule has expanded to 30 games, with 13 games at TD Place in Ottawa, including the home opener on December 3 against Toronto.

Ottawa Charge will participate in two pre-season games on November 21 and 22 in Montréal. Their schedule has three international breaks including one in April for the IIHF Women’s World Championship.
