Patrick Timothy Kane II is an American professional ice hockey right winger who plays for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL). Notably, he was drafted first overall by the Blackhawks in 2007 after a stellar season with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), he won the Calder Trophy as the NHL Rookie of the Year in 2007-08.
