Despite the 6-4 defeat against the Bruins in their second game, the Canadiens showed that they can bounce back quickly. They have won both of their home fixtures so far and will look to extend their streak on Monday.

Jayden Struble, David Reinbacher and Rafael Harvey-Pinard are all out due to injuries. However, the Canadiens could have one less player injured soon as Struble is expected to return later this week.

Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby have started the season strong with the pair providing seven assists combined.

On the other hand, Cole Caufield has been leading the charge for the Canadiens with four goals while and Lane Hutson has contributed four assists.
