The NHL trade rumor mill is buzzing with speculation surrounding multiple Calgary Flames players, including goaltender Jacob Markstrom. NHL insider Kevin Weekes, through a post on X (formerly Twitter), hinted that the Flames might be considering a significant move involving their star netminder.

With the Flames currently sitting outside of the playoff picture, it seems that the team is exploring all options to shake up the roster and spark a turnaround.

Following a subpar 2022–23 campaign, the Swedish goaltender has bounced back to prove his doubters wrong this season.

In the Calgary Flames' last outing, he made a staggering 32 saves to guide his team to a 6-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes.

While it's unclear which specific players or assets the Calgary Flames would be seeking in return for the 33-year-old, if he truly is on the trading block, multiple teams would be interested in adding the veteran to their roster.
