Ryan Graves is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman, playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL as of 2024. Born on May 21, 1995, Graves was selected by the New York Rangers as the 110th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He began his professional career with the Rangers' AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack, where he gained recognition for his powerful slapshot, winning the hardest shot contest at the 2016 AHL All-Star Game.

Graves' NHL career took off after a trade to the Colorado Avalanche in 2018. Notably, during the 2019–20 season, Graves led the NHL in plus-minus at +40 while playing a key role alongside Cale Makar. In 2021, he was traded to the New Jersey Devils, where he set career highs in points and surpassed 100 career points during his second season. In 2023, he signed a six-year, $27 million contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins and continues to play with them.
