The Ottawa Senators are back in action for the second half of a back-to-back weekend set of home games on Sunday against the Utah Hockey Club. Ottawa (25-20-4) is coming off a huge 2-1 win at home over the Maple Leafs on Saturday, while Utah (21-20-7) lost 5-2 in Winnipeg on Friday.
Prior to last night's triumph, the Senators had been shut out in two consecutive games. Despite its lack of scoring, Ottawa is still in the playoff chase with 54 points, one shy of a wildcard place in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, Utah has 49 points and is just six points away from the Western Conference playoffs.
The injury bug has bitten Ottawa in recent weeks. Mainstays in the Sens lineup, Linus Ullmark (back), Josh Norris (upper body), Nick Jensen (undisclosed), Nick Cousins (lower body) and Noah Gregor (lower body) all remain out with injuries. Cole Reinhart (upper body), and Jacob Bernard-Docker (ankle) are also unavailable.
The Senators will need to call up a forward for tonight's game. Angus Crookshank is a strong possibility to receive the promotion.

Odds for Senators vs. Hockey Club and Ottawa's upcoming schedule
As expected, the Senators enter as a home favorite.
On the FanDuel Sportsbook, the Sens are -132 home favorites, while Utah is +110 as road underdogs. Should these lines remain until the puck drops, a $132 wager on Ottawa could cash in $100, while a $100 bet on the Hockey Club could net $110 in return.
Sunday's game caps off a busy week for the Senators. Thankfully, the schedule eases up next week as they won't play until Thursday night when they host the Washington Capitals. Ottawa will then finish off the week with another home game on Saturday night against the Minnesota Wild.
