Seth Jarvis is a professional ice hockey center for the Carolina Hurricanes, as of February 2025. He was selected 13th overall by the Hurricanes in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. In August 2024, Jarvis signed an eight-year, $63.2 million contract with Carolina, with $29.24 million in signing bonuses, as per Spotrac. During the 2023-24 NHL season, he ranked second on the team in goals (33) and points (67) and led the Hurricanes in power-play goals (13). According to his NHL profile, He became the third player from the 2020 NHL Draft class to score 30 goals in a season, alongside Tim Stutzle and Lucas Raymond.

Jarvis' breakout year also saw him lead Carolina in power-play points (four) and power-play goals (two) during the playoffs, where he registered nine points in 11 games. Before reaching the NHL, Jarvis played a season with the Portland Winterhawks in the WHL in 2019-20, finishing second in the league with 98 points.
