Spencer Knight is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Florida Panthers of the NHL. Born on April 19, 2001, he is a first-round pick (13th overall) in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. Inspired by Henrik Lundqvist, he began his journey in goaltending at a young age, honing his skills at Darien High School, Avon Old Farms, and the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. Knight spent his collegiate career at Boston College. As a sophomore, he was named Hockey East Goaltending Champion and Player of the Year, and he twice reached the finals for the Mike Richter Award.
