Timo Meier, a professional ice hockey player from Switzerland, was born on October 8, 1996. He is presently a member of the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks. Meier became the third player from Switzerland to be selected by the Sharks in franchise history after being taken ninth overall by the team in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
