#1 Jeremy Roenick

Jeremy Roenick was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1970 and is arguably the best player the state has ever produced.

Roenick was drafted 8th overall in 1988 and skated 1,363 games recording 513 goals and 703 assists for 1,216 points. Roenick is a nine-time NHL All-Star and is part of the 2024 Hockey Hall of Fame class.

#2 Tom Barrasso

Tom Barrasso was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1965 and was drafted fifth overall in the 1983 NHL draft.

The goalie played in 777 NHL games, the most out of any goalie from Massachusetts. He finished his career with a record of 369-277-86 with a 3.24 GAA and a .892 SV%.

Barrasso won the Vezina in 1984, won the Stanley Cup in 1991 and 1992 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2023.

#3 Keith Tkachuk

Keith Tkachuk was born in Melrose, Massachusetts, and was drafted 19th overall in the 1990 NHL draft.

Tkachuk skated in 1,201 NHL games, recording 538 goals and 527 assists for 1,065 points. Tkachuk is second all-time in points from someone born in Massachusetts. He's also the father of Matthew and Brady Tkachuk, two current NHL players.

#4 Tony Amonte

Tony Amonte was born in Hingham, Massachusetts, and he was selected 68th overall in the 1988 NHL Draft.

Amonte skated in 1,174 games, recording 416 goals and 484 assists for 900 points. He was a five-time NHL All-Star and is third all-time in points for a player from Massachusetts.

#5 Bill Guerin

Bill Guerin was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and was selected fifth overall in the 1989 NHL Draft.

Guerin skated in 1,263 NHL games, recording 429 goals and 427 assists for 856 points. The forward was a four-time NHL All-Star, and was named to the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013.
